About Jason Akel, CHt
Jason is a member of the highly-respected A.C.H.E. - the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (#420-087). He is a graduate of two distinguished schools, the Hypnotherapy Training Institute and Northwestern University where he studied Communications, Sociology & Linguistics. Jason received certification in "mind-bending" conversational hypnosis from The Hypno Academy.
Modalities: hypnotherapy/hypnosis, conversational hypnosis/mind-bending language, NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Of note, the Hypnotherapy Training Institute was one of the earliest licensed and accredited hypnotherapy schools in the United States. Jason's teachers, Randal Churchill and Cheryl Canfield, are legends in the field; Randal literally wrote the books on regression therapy. Jason's techniques also draw from the best practices of famed pioneers in hypnotherapy including Milton Erickson, Fritz Perls, Gil Boyne and Dave Elman.
Jason spent many years working in the tech industry as an executive for startups and established corporations such as Cendant/CheapTickets, The Knot, Appnext, Macrovision, and Exent. He has advised Fortune 500 companies (Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Amazon, Bank of America) and managed cross-functional international teams comprised of designers, developers, engineers, marketers, sales account executives and customer service representatives.
